38th anniversary

On September 14, 2016, Gonzalez Carrillo and Matienzo had the great pleasure and honor to celebrate our thirty-eighth anniversary, which coincided with the opening of our new offices, located on the fourth and fifth floors of the “Ceiba” building, located at number 260, Calle Palmira.

Since 1978, Gonzalez Carrillo y Matienzo, S.C., offers quality legal services. Initially established under the name of Gonzalez Carillo y Asociados, S.C., the firm undertook what would be the beginning of a long success trajectory in its first offices, which were located at the Carranza building, changing in 1985 its location to Number 185 of Avenida Universidad. Later, in 2000, the firm moved to the number 200 of Calle Francisco Diaz Covarrubias, which it occupied for 16 years, period within which it changed its name to the one with which it is currently known.

Although in the beginning the firm was characterized by providing only commercial law services, with the passage of time, given the needs of our clients and the spirit of providing them a full and first level service, the areas of practice in our office have been extended and adequate over time, currently offering services in the corporate and litigation areas in civil, family, commercial, labor and administrative law.

As part of this celebration, several personalities from both the political and legal spheres of San Luis Potosi attended a Panel on Transparency and Accountability, a topical issue, given the recent implementation, both national and state, of a modern and appropriate Anti-Corruption System, which seeks to contribute to the defense of the Rule of Law. This Panel was moderated by the very distinguished Retired Minister of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, Mr. Carlos de Silva Nava, with the participation of lawyers Jose Mario de la Garza Marroquin, Angel Candia Pardo, Jorge Chessal Palau, and Manuel Gonzalez Matienzo, partner of our prestigious firm.

After closing the forum, the guests enjoyed a nice and pleasant cocktail, accompanied by good music, canapés and drinks, courtesy of their hosts.
